EPA Administrator Stephen L. Johnson announced the recipients of 10 grants totaling more than $1 million to support clean diesel projects. The value of the grants will nearly triple to $3 million, as industry partners contribute almost two dollars for every dollar of federal funds.

Aim Funds *$30,000, Garden State EnviroNet Inc., Boonton.

College Free Funds Grant To support the group's free, Internet-based environmental news and information services.

Active Funds Index Investor * $20,000, Genesis Farm, Blairstown.

Electronic Funds Transfer To help serve local farmers and increase awareness of local farm products in northwestern New Jersey in order to preserve that area's farmland and agricultural way of life.

Ci Funds *$80,000, Highlands Coalition, Titusville. To continue policy initiatives that protect vital regions in New Jersey's Highlands area and to advance a complementary growth management campaign.

Funds India Mutual *$60,000, Morris Land Conservancy, Boonton.

Cost Easy Exchange Fund Funds To support the Partners for Greener Communities program, which works with municipalities to develop and implement open space plans designed to preserve critical watershed lands.

Fund Funds Hedge *$100,000, New Jersey Audubon Society, Bernardsville.

Cox Dodge Funds For the Wildlife 2010 Conservation Plan, an effort to help preserve New Jersey's wild and at-risk natural habitats, and to promote smart growth.

Funds Price Rowe *$200,000, New Jersey Conservation Foundation, Far Hills.

Columbia Funds For the Garden State Greenways Initiative, including land acquisition, policy reform and outreach to strategic partners. The initiative provides a framework for achieving a green infrastructure of interconnected farmlands, forest, parks, trails and walkways throughout New Jersey.

College Funds *$50,000, Passaic River Coalition, Bernards.

Franklin Funds For projects that improve water quality and maintain water quantity in northern New Jersey.
